Much will be said over the coming weeks and months and years to dissect what lead to the massive electoral failure we witnessed last Tuesday. While many of our friends and club supporters scored victories–Kira Krivosh, Carl Mazzone, Joy Kennedy, Bride Rose Sweeney, Michael O’Malley, among others, we suffered many defeats–I’m sure everyone is more than apprised of that by now. With great pride, we can report that every single precinct in Rocky River…every single one…went for Kamala Harris. We have all taken time to best process the events of last Tuesday, as we are sure you have as well, but we’re not sure anything we say can assuage your despair or fear going into 2025 and beyond.
However, we would be more than remiss if we did not extend a sincere, heartfelt, and fervent THANK YOU to every single one of you that attended meetings, wrote postcards, displayed yard signs, donated your time and money, canvassed your neighborhoods, spoke to friends, neighbors, and strangers on behalf of the Democratic Party, and offered us your unflinching support. Your enthusiasm and commitment has truly been a guiding light and hopeful beacon for us in the tempestuous wake of this electoral storm–we ask and implore that you do NOT lose that fire! We continue to rely on YOU, our loyal members, to help guide us through. Our work is not done, we will continue to advocate for all those who have no voice, or are too frightened to speak–our commitment remains as strident as ever–we will exercise our rights while we still have them!
November Meeting
