One Final Thought
Recently there has been a lot of media trying to put labels on different ideas in the Democratic Party. But Moderate, progressive, socialist, whatever you call it – in the Democratic party, we know there is space ifor a variety of thoughts and opinions. Not only that, we know our government works better with a variety of voices. We see what happens when only one vision is in charge.
Here in Rocky River and across Ohio, we know Republican policies have hurt our communities. Let’s stay focused on changing that by electing Brian Poindexter, Sherrod Brown, Dr. Amy Acton, and Democrats up and down the ballot. Are bigger conversations about the party’s future important? Absolutely. But right now, in this moment, we’ve got elections to win in November. And to do that, we need all of us.
