Club Meeting Next Tuesday!
Make sure to join us for the next Rocky River Dems meeting on Tuesday, September 29. The agenda will include special guest speaker Patrick Kearns and a club vote.
More about our Guest Speaker: We’re pleased to welcome Patrick Kearns, Executive Director of Re:Source Cleveland. Re:Source Cleveland serves newcomers to the Greater Cleveland area, including former refugees, humanitarian parolees, asylees, and individuals with temporary protected status. Patrick will share how Re:Source Cleveland supports international newcomers as they navigate challenges and works alongside them to reach their dreams.
Upcoming Vote on Rocky River Charter Amendments
Club members will also vote on seven proposed amendments to the Rocky River City Charter. The results will be reflected in our upcoming voting guide, which will be sent to the Rocky River electorate ahead of the fall election. At the meeting, we’ll provide information about each amendment before voting on whether the club supports it. At least 10 members must be present for the vote to be official.
